How virtual lactation visits work
Telehealth lactation support connects you with an IBCLC through a secure video visit, so you can stay in the space where you and your baby are most comfortable. Before the appointment, we may ask for a brief history and your main questions. During the visit, we can observe feeding when video allows, review pumping setup, and talk through your concerns step by step. You will leave with a clear plan and reassurance that fits your real day-to-day life.
When telehealth can be especially helpful
Many families choose virtual visits for:
- Follow-up after a home visit
- Pumping, flange fit, and milk storage questions
- Travel, weather, childcare, or recovery at home that makes leaving the house difficult
- Quick check-ins when you need guidance between longer visits
Telehealth is not the right fit for every situation; if hands-on support in your home would serve you better, we will say so plainly and help you think through options.
What we can address together
We can discuss positioning ideas, feeding patterns, supply concerns from an educational lens, pumping routines, and how to communicate with your health care team. We do not provide medical diagnosis or guarantees about outcomes; we focus on skilled lactation support, safety-minded education, and compassionate next steps.
Florida-wide support with local roots
We offer telehealth lactation support to families across Florida, with deep experience supporting parents in Orlando, St. Cloud, Lake Nona, Narcoossee, Kissimmee, and Central Florida. Wherever you are in the state, you can access professional, parent-friendly help without adding a long drive to your day.
Privacy, comfort, and your next step
We know feeding can feel vulnerable. Visits are confidential and conducted in a supportive tone: calm, respectful, and focused on what you need. If you are not sure whether telehealth or a home visit is best, reach out and we will help you choose.
